Running the distance with Angry Gran
Angry Gran Run is another Temple Run clone that uses the same gameplay, but different characters.
You have to use the accelerometer to move Angry Gran left or right and swipe up to jump and down to slide. Alternatively, you can also swipe left or right to tell her which way to run. The core gameplay requires you to run as far as possible while collecting coins to purchase upgrades and costumes.
If you've ever played Temple Run, Angry Gran Run is a very similar game, but adds its own personality into the recognizable gameplay.
Angry Gran Run also supports in-app purchases for more coins that you can use to increase the distance you want to run. Angry Gran Run is an addictive game, and it is not uncommon to play multiple games in a row.
Thankfully, Angry Gran Run has added a lot of new content. There are new graphics along with a new London environment. A new character, Harry, has been added in that level. You also have new missions, new themes, better collectible spawn rates, and definitive time limit for collectibles.
These updates extend the life of Angry Gran Run a lot.
Still an endless runner
Even with the new graphics and environment, the gameplay in Angry Gran Run is still the same. You still have to run as far as possible to get the highest score. Collecting coins to purchase unlockables can be a grind.
Angry Gran Run is perfect for quick sessions while on the go, but don't expect in-depth gameplay during long sessions.
Great if you love endless runners
The gameplay of endless runners haven't changed. It's all about getting the best distance. Unlockables and collectibles add a little challenge, but they don't extend the life of the game. You'll probably play Angry Gran Run a lot when you first download it, but then you'll probably forget about it.
